Can do!

God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.

Glory to God in the church!
Glory to God in the Messiah, in Jesus!
Glory down all the generations!
Glory through all millennia! Oh, yes! – Ephesians 3:20-21

I’m reading a book written by a friend who went through the building of a new house. The journey was all there’s as the family pitched in to help it come to be. There were times they thought the job was too big, but God brought them through by sending the right people to help, providing for them as they purchased supplies, and gave them a “can do with God” attitude that helped them reach the goal.

Not only did they reach their goal in building the house, but many life lessons were learned through the experience. They learned the importance of family with blessings and tragedies, the faithfulness of God, and how they were not only building on their house, but on their faith.

Are you thinking that a task you have before you is too much for you to do? You’re right, it is. It can be done, but the necessary element is God. He is inside of you and wants you to succeed. He can do it.

Prayer: Thank you for working inside of me, God, so that I can accomplish the tasks you have set before me. I pray that I follow and obey you for that is what I am responsible for … you do all the rest. Amen

Faith Tip: Allow God to work within you to accomplish those tasks that seem overwhelming to you.

  1. Thank you, Kathy, for another reminder of what all we can do, in God’s strength. I can so much relate to this.:-)
