Today is exciting!

Deep Thoughts and Work Comps

Do you not know?
       Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.

He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
(Isaiah 40:28-29)

When would her life change? Zoe clocked out from the factory. Day after day was the same routine of going to work early, coming home late, spending a little time with her small son, studying, and then falling into bed to get what sleep she could just to wake up and do it all over again. She wanted a better life for her and her son and she was working towards it, but it seemed so out of reach to her. She was so tired.

Some of us can relate to Zoe, can’t we? Our life seems to fall into a routine and we sometimes wonder if there’s any purpose in it. We get tired. We get discouraged. Our focus is on the routine.

The good news is that God has a plan for each of us that is anything but routine. It is being worked out, but because of our tiredness, we don’t see it. We need to refocus. If we continue to see only what we are doing, it is very limited. However, if we seek what God is doing, that focus will bring purpose, strength, and power into our lives. He is the everlasting God and because of His great love for you, He wants to pump you up for His kingdom purpose.

Prayer: Thank you, Lord that today is your exciting plan for me. I pray that I seek you to see what you are doing. Amen

Faith Tip: Begin praising the Lord for today. See how He wants to include you in today’s plan.
